The Technical Specialist Brand team focuses their efforts in the video product space, working with a wide range of cross-functional teams across Google to help customers be successful. As a client-facing expert, with a particular focus on coordinating agency support, cross-functional relationship skills are key. Your knowledge of online media, combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities will be essential to shaping how new and existing business grows. You’ll operate as a key sales partner delivering brand campaigns or solutions based on agreed customer’s KPIs. You will have in-depth product knowledge and a technical aptitude which can be leveraged to persistently explore and uncover technical solutions to complex business scenarios. Technical Specialists help provide the voice of the customer to the regional and global ‘Go-To-Market’ and gTech Ads Product and Tools teams. Through your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will be essential to driving ongoing improvements to our products, processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized pre-sales, creative and technical product expertise to account teams, advertisers, agencies and industry partners.
  • Design custom video solutions to meet customer business objectives. Support and promote new YouTube Ad features, ensuring prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Develop and own product expertise and act as the Subject Matter Expert. Troubleshoot/resolve issues and provide excellent support across our platform technologies.
  • Liaise with regional and global teams to improve reservation products and to optimize existing reservation tools/systems. Drive education initiatives to increase knowledge of Google reserve products and processes with agencies.
  • Be accountable for the set up, support, delivery, optimization and reporting of complex YouTube video ads campaigns. Coordinate service in partnership with our vendor teams, work to improve efficiency and consistently look for the processes to scale appropriately
