As a Transportation Project Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your team and grow business in the local traffic/transportation market. Working with members of our local and regional team, you will have supporting resources and independence to grow your market. As part of a large firm, you will have the opportunities to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects utilizing your transportation planning and roadway design expertise. Our business thrives on cross-functional client-focused teams to develop detailed deliverables and excellent client relationship skills to secure repeat opportunities. This candidate will help grow our Arizona transportation business in the Southwestern region of BIAF while supporting existing work in other states and regions. - Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required; Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Registration as a PE in Arizona (or the ability to obtain in 6 months) preferred
- More than 8 years of progressive technical design background in at least one of the following areas: transportation and/or urban planning, highway drainage, highway design, traffic engineering, as well as familiarity with AASHTO standards is required
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in project management
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design Software (MicroStation and InRoads) is preferred. Civil 3D is also a plus
- Proven experience in developing and delivering high quality local agency or DOT client deliverables
- Existing local agency or DOT client relationships is preferred
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills is required
