I am a 24 year retail veteran with 19 of those in the Loss Prevention/Asset Protection leadership roles from single unit to multi-unit responsibilities, and 6 years in operational roles from bag boy up to Scanning Coordinator for the grocery industry. Additionally, I have also spent 6 years in Investigations ranging from private general investigations to long and short term undercover and also Workers Compensation fraud, as well as Security, Security supervision, CCTV planning and installs, and background check services provided to contract clients.

I have experience in both big box hardline and small softline retail, successfully leading teams in creating omnichannel transitions in Safety and Asset Protection culture buy-in from workforce teams as small as 9 associates to as big as 250+ in single units and market teams of up to 1,300+ and direct report responsibilities ranging from 1 to 12. My business philosophy focuses first on training and developing talent to best maximize personal skill sets and serve as true profit enhancers across the spectrum of business. In order to do that, I believe it is best to lead by example, which I have done by achieving the LPC certification, and have also gone through the Wicklander Zulawski course twice.

My colleagues, former supervisors, and former direct reports provide references attesting to my skills using phrases such as "He is able to relate to all aspects of the business, has great business acumen and has an ability to gain rapport with anyone", " Being one of the greatest motivators I have met, he is the “go to person” when conflicts arise or a project needed attention", "Eddie is a resourceful investigator, a great communicator, and an excellent leader of people", and "He was always my "go to" guy when there was a special need or circumstance that needed to be addressed".

Personally, I love sports, and played baseball in college and semi-pro, and have enjoyed getting to watch my two children throughout their high school careers as well in football, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. I also spend time researching family genealogy, reading (political history books being among my favorites), and traveling.

I currently work for Lowe's Home Improvement as a Customer Service Associate IV. Previously, I was an Asset Protection and Safety Manager for Lowe's for 7 years until a corporate restructuring eliminated my position. Since assuming this new role while continuing my job search, I have enjoyed getting back to the roots of my first jobs, assisting customers in meeting their needs while providing a clean, safe, and well stocked and presented department.
