Volunteer Finance and Administrative Officer
Selected Duties:
• Responsible for all day-to-day accounting, reviews and authorization of vendor payments and management of the field bank account.
• Prepares monthly, the statement of expenses by activity heads as well as bank reports with complete bank reconciliations showing details and summary of all items.
• Carries out un-biased procurement process (prequalification and procurement of items within approved thresholds as per circulars).
• Assists technical staff members in the development and management of the monthly and quarterly activity budgets and work-plan development.
• Provide support to partners on grants, finance and administrative management.
Executes the company’s administrative and Personnel management operations to support the State office;
• Coordinates and carry out on boarding and staff induction for new staff and team members at the State of operation;
• Oversees the smooth running of HR-related administrative tasks, such as benefits management, leave management, redeployments and transfers;
• Ensures that the state office has adequate support infrastructure to deliver consistently high quality personnel services;
• Ensures that the premises and property of the organisation at state level are in good working condition and are adequately protected against loss and damage;
• Procures assets/consumables by closely monitoring minimum re-order levels at the State;
• Selects and maintains database of qualified & reputable vendors
• Ensures proper management of relationships with suppliers and other third party service providers;
• Ensures all communication links are in working condition;
• Supervises all support staff and ensure proper coordination of their work;
• Undertakes other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.
