” Why are YOU the best candidate for the JOB”
Often asked in interviews and similar to: “How will you add value to this organization?”
How to answer?
1. State your “why” for wanting the role and for working for this company in particular.
2. Cross-reference your strengths, transferable skills, tech skills and experience to KEY points in the job requirements.
3. State “when” you will be available to start, as this often makes a difference to hiring managers who need to hire quickly.
4. State that you are adaptable and ready for a new challenge.
This is NOT the moment to be too humble in an interview.
If YOU don’t “sell” yourself, other candidates will. So go for it!
