We are seeking a motivated professional with excellent design capabilities and mechanical reasoning to be a major contributor as a part of a collaborative team, of large complex projects for our dynamic manufacturing-construction organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creates 3D model based off red-lines from either BIM Coordinator or field team
  • Develops 2D installation drawings and detail drawings from 3D model or sketches
  • Prints Documents and helps keep drawings up to date while archiving older drawings
  • Helps set up project and keeps it maintained with guidance from BIM Coordinator
  • Keeps a daily log on tasks being performed
  • QA/QC own work
  • Helps QA/QC drawings based off of standards and best practices
  • Download and upload files when needed to keep project current
  • Has effective communication with field and project management team

Skill Level:

  • Advanced Level drafter/CAD operator and basic level modeler
  • 2+ years’ experience using Revit and AutoCAD regarding 2D drawings
  • 2+ years’ experience using Revit and AutoCAD regarding 3D population
  • Requires 8-10 hours a month of dedicated training on software and electrical construction
  • Requires QA/QC for any work being submitted
  • Moderate Electrical knowledge
    • Equipment Clearances
    • Basic common code – sizing of pull cans, supports maximums.
    • Can read blueprints at a basic level
  • Can perform 3D modeling at a basic level

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in electrical construction industry/field experience
  • Understanding and mechanical aptitude in 3D environments
  • Ability to communicate and work in a collaborated environment with others
  • Strong work ethic and a cooperative attitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Works well with deadline driven projects
  • Positive attitude and readiness to learn
  • Self-Motivator and team player
