We are seeking a talented individual, currently working within finance and accounting leadership, who has a history of cultivating collaborative cross-functional partnerships, to lead our growth in India as Finance Director, India. This is a newly created senior, high impact role reporting directly to the Head of APAC Finance based in Singapore.

Success in this role involves an ability to think critically and creatively, supporting a fast-paced organization to plan and execute effectively. This role involves significant interaction with the broader global finance group, legal and policy teams, and sales organization teams amongst others. This person would handle day-to-day operations to support finance’s efforts with senior partners across all sales channels, develop and execute on strategic partner initiatives and build relationships with key agency customers in market. This is a full-time position is located in Hyderabad or Gurgaon.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Head of APAC Finance to support the finance operations, accounting and compliance functions for all India entities
  • Serve as a legal director and board member of some of our India entities
  • Actively participate in the India Leadership Team, lead partnership efforts across India market, acting as a cross functional leader across Facebook group of companies
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels with key partners
  • Maintain continuous alignment of our wider team efforts on projects which have high impact on Facebook’s finance and accounting processes, employee and customer experiences
  • Lead ad-hoc transformation initiatives across new accounting standards, new technology, talent initiatives amongst others
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree from a leading academic institution with CPA or equivalent accounting designation
  • Strong background in technical accounting matters under US GAAP, IFRS and India GAAP
  • Significant & relevant experience in multi-national, high-growth public companies or in large accounting firms
  • Experience partnering with leaders to bring focus, goals setting, and team execution
  • Leadership experience and strong track record of employee engagement, growth outlook, and communication
  • Experience leading process transformation, project management, systems projects, acquisition integration and controls compliance
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key external and internal stakeholders and business leaders
  • Broad business understanding including sales and marketing, particularly in the internet/advertising space
