The main function of this position is to respond and resolve service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers.  Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and material work and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems.  The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 3 or more years of experience in Building Automation System service or installation in HVAC, Security, Fire, CCTV or Access

WE VALUE

  • Previous BAS programming experience, working knowledge of standard communication protocols such as Bacnet, LON and Modbus as well as 3rd party equipment integration experience.
  • Associate or technical college degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to guide Associate Install Technical Specialists
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
  • Good presentation skills
