Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer technology marketing.
  • Experience launching and growing brands across many international markets and in adapting global brand strategies to local market context and user insights.
  • Exceptional creative judgment and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop best-in-class marketing, pushing the limits of technology to tell stories and bring product experiences to life in new ways.

About the job

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Platforms and Ecosystems Brand team is looking for a strategic and creatively savvy brand marketing manager with excellent communication skills and international experience to establish the Chromebook brand globally. You have experience building consumer brands in multi-cultural environments, crafting scaleable brand go-to-market strategies, developing and adapting the global creative to be locally relevant. In this role, you will be the representative of the Chromebook brand and creative, and be responsible for developing and executing strategies, plans and playbooks to establish the Chromebook brand in EMEA and APAC countries. You’ll provide brand and creative guidance for locally driven projects and make sure that all creative delivers on the business goals, inspires and sets the standard, and authentically connects with diverse consumer audiences globally. You’ll work with a range of internal stakeholders across Global Product and Retail Marketing, Regional and Country Marketing teams, Media counterparts – to prioritize brand plans across channels, develop creative strategies and guide execution of high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Grow awareness, consideration and purchase intent of Chromebooks in international markets with the right brand go-to-market strategies, creative and integrated initiatives across different channels.
  • Develop playbooks and best practices for establishing the Chromebook brand in international markets.
  • Lead cross-functional working teams across global PMM, Regional and Country Marketing to develop and execute regional and country brand plans and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Roll out the formal global processes and RACE model. Help lead end-to-end global marketing projects, including planning, creative development, execution, budget management, measurement and best practice development.
