Role Summary:

We are looking for a visible, interactive, trusted partner to drive the implementation of GE Digital’s people strategy and culture across various functional groups. This role will provide client support to ~250 employees and managers in Cincinnati, Schenectady, and some of our distributed MyTech lounge locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Our HR Managers (HRMs) own the employee experience by coaching leaders to hire, inspire, develop, and retain the talented employees that create customer success. HRMs work within a collaborative eco-system of HR peers ranging from HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Compensation, Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Be the first point of contact for managers and employees, driving and executing organizational, talent and cultural transformations associated with building a world-class organization
  • Drive the employee experience by coaching leaders to hire, inspire, develop and retain talent
  • Partner with various HRBPs and stakeholders across multiple client groups; Collaborate within in the eco-system of HR peers including Comp, TA, Workforce Planning and Learning & Development
  • Advise managers on employee relations related issues to ensure consistent, transparent application of policies and practices; own investigations when needed
  • Coach managers to ensure team priorities are laser focused on strategy and drive customer success
  • Engage with employees regularly to become an expert of our people and the way they work in order to create best in class working experiences
  • Drive employee development: coach managers to create meaningful, personalized development plans
  • Influence hiring to ensure we continue to hire world-class IT employees with industry-leading capabilities
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
  • Conduct HR support for functional processes like Performance Development, Compensation Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation
  • Drive Cincinnati site HR initiatives such as employee engagement calendar and event execution, community outreach activities, university partnerships, and local liaison for our Affinity Groups
  • Partner with extended HR team to further drive performance management, people review process, leadership development, etc., within the functions

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant work experience)
  • Minimum 3 years prior professional work experience (can include internships)

  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Cincinnati, Ohio
