he Human Resources and Recruiting Specialist will support both Human Resources and Hourly Recruiting functions at our Hooksett, NH, Aviation Manufacturing facility. This Specialist will also work alongside our HR Strategy Leader in Hooksett, NH, providing ad hoc project support.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the broad spectrum of the process for hourly hiring including maintaining Applicant Data Tracking Systems, candidate selection / overview and assessor scoring discussion, interview scheduling and management, closure with candidates once selection process is complete, onboarding new hires, I-9 completion and orientation coordination and tracking, and leading recruiting activities such as career fairs
  • Support HR and Training Leader in conducting training needs assessment, scheduling / coordinating courses, and overall site tracking of our employee’s development
  • Work with the state and government agencies on grants and other sources of funding
  • Assist Strategy Leader in creating tracking tools for site projects, documenting and distributing QMI notes, updating monthly BCC boards, metrics-based project support and building upon the site communication strategy (videos showcasing Hooksett, Yammer posts, etc.)
  • Support site Operations teams, Finance Manager, Strategy Leader and HR with ad hoc administration needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with mass hiring for hourly Operations roles in Manufacturing environment

Desired Characteristics:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience with GE Careful Selection process or similar interviewing process experience
  • Experience with managing projects and logistics coordination of large events
  • Knowledge of Hooksett site, facility and leadership teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
