Job Description

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Operations Support Superintendent to support our Everett Delivery Center in Everett, Washington.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages and integrates first and mid-level manager activities across all programs at the Everett Delivery Center in materials management, tooling support and additional support functions as needed.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers
  • Must have experience in Manufacturing, Supplier Management or Materials Management or related field
  • Must know the Boeing Production System
  • Must have experience building cross-functional partnerships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Experience in more than one function
    Experience developing and implementing strategic plans involving multiple organizations
