Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain Business (SCB) team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer as a Mid-Level Procurement Analyst.
This position will be focused on gathering and evaluating data to support the needs of the supplier business teams as well as being responsible for leading proposal activities supporting DLA.
- PPOA Objectives understood and executable (no missing elements, clear directions, POP, etc.)
- Identify high-risk items early in pre-award/coordinate and de-risk items/elevate for help as needed
- Kicking off buyers in SCc’s to release RFPs to supply base with comprehensive package and maintain RAA
- for meetings/Q&A/Follow-ups
- Establish framework for what belongs in a kick-off package, understanding customizable add-in’s that are
- proposal specific (unique items
- Collaborate with material estimating, program mgt, contracts and other stakeholders during proposal thru
- prime negotiations stages
- Publish elevation/help needed plans during proposal kick-off thru prime negotiation stages and ensuring
- elevations occur.
- Proposal & Clearance tracking – coordinate with SCc to ensure quotes are coming in on-time, SPRT
- success, coordinate CAR and decrements with buyers to support pricing sweeps
- Sharing Negotiation Clearance positions with management, estimating, contracts, programs as necessary
- Definitization Plan support – ensuring any outstanding supplier data items are identified and collected

Qualifications
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience preparing reports in support of data analysis
- Experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management
- Experience with Supplier Management or Production/Manufacturing Operations practices and processes
Typical Education:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
