The Global Outsourcing team contributes directly to this mission by providing a reliable and scalable platform for all our internal stakeholders as an integral part in connecting every business in the world with their customers on Facebook, as well as building a safe and enjoyable environment for people using any of the family of Facebook Apps. This position will focus on providing a structured approach to rolling out new outsourcing solutions globally and as well as managing internal process improvement initiatives. As this role requires interaction with different groups both inside and outside of Facebook, we’re looking for candidates with strong communication and influencing skills. Ideal candidates have experience in Project Management, in the fields of large BPO implementations or large operations as an added value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage complex, high-impact implementation projects. Define requirements and execute effective communications, and project management strategies, to improve the speed and success of implementations of critical internal and outsourced services
  • Create standardized processes and templates used for outsourcing, in collaboration with the required internal stakeholders
  • Review the current set of contractual documentation and integrate in standardized Project Management models to ensure it all ties from the RFX to the fully Operational stages of a service
  • Provide ongoing input to the management for external information on progress of projects, as well as to make informed decisions on modifications of strategy derived from project development
  • Support the Process team on design, implementation, and enhancement of core processes to improve the outsourcing strategy for scalability and high-quality of delivery
  • Ability to travel internationally for at least 15% of the working time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, especially on Business Process Outsourcing and/or operations, business process improvement or information management as an additional value
  • 3+ years’ experience working on a global and/or cross-functional team with international footprint
  • Problem solving, organizational and analytical experience, with experience acting independently across priorities
  • Experience developing workflows and process documents in multiple formats, in addition to knowledge of MS Excel
  • Influencing, organizational, communication, interpersonal experience
  • Experience working in multiple time-zones, depending on the needs of the specific projects
