About this role

Based in Warsaw, you will work within the Capital Projects Team, supporting delivery of the ‘infrastructures’ scope area.

Working closely with the Project Director, you will set the execution strategy and be accountable for delivering the scope to cost and schedule safely under often challenging conditions.

You won’t be on your own though; you will be supported along the way by a team responsible for the delivery of a programme of work supporting a key client in Poland.

Taking accountability for the successful delivery of all aspects of the assigned projects through their complete life cycle will be central to your role.

Among other things, your responsibilities include;

• Establishing and executing safe and effective project delivery strategies covering estimating, procurement, project management and controls

• Bid management, scope definition, programme and estimate development

• Stakeholder management, both internally and externally in a challenging environment

• Commercially astute, preferably with experience of operating under Eastern European (Polish) commercial arrangements and nuances

• Ensuring resources are identified early and available both through internal sources and our partner organisations

• Appliance of and compliance with company governance, project controls practices including maintaining P6 schedule and monitoring the project baseline

• Identification, assessment and mitigation of key risks and opportunities

About you

This is a big job but you have a strong background in a similar role, in a highly regulated industry and you are bolstered by a technical degree.

You also have experience delivering multi-disciplined projects in a consultancy environment and possess the ability to work in a challenging environment.

Aside from this, you have a background in bid management – pulling together estimates for manpower, scopes of work and schedules from a diverse resource base. As well, as experience in project front-end delivery operations, specifically coordination and management of site location and environmental impact assessment studies.

Most importantly, you must be fluent in both Polish and English
