Project Manager (Government)

Our Defense Team supports our Nation’s warfighters, providing acquisition, sustainment, test, and engineering support to the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) in El Segundo CA.

AT&T has an opening for Project Manager to support the Space and Missile Systems Center, in providing Operations and Product Support Services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supports separated team of multi-disciplined professionals in areas of project management across various projects.
• Supports business and administration operations across the portfolio
• Serve as task lead who shall coordinate with the government Team Lead to obtain and clarify contract requirements and who will be responsible for all interactions between government and the contractor.
• Oversee scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of existing and new contract actions.
• Support proposal development, contract negotiation and contract compliance including:
• Ensure master plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to program challenges, and directing others for successful completion of project on time and on budget.
• Lead project governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement.
• Provide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve a corporate vision. They typically work as the head of a program office leading a team and perform liaison activities with upper management and stakeholders.
• Develop, quality check, and deliver Month Summary Reports and Trip Reports to the Government
• Interface with the Government customer by leading and hosting Program Management Reviews (PMR) and other events
• Support staffing of new/backfill employees to ensure client requirements are met in a timely manner
• Projected Travel: Approximately 25%

Required Clearance:
The ability to gain and maintain TS-SCI eligibility is highly desired. The hiring authority may change this requirement based on current mission needs.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s in Business or related field is required. This can be changed by the hiring authority.

Desired Qualifications:
A PMP Certificate is highly desired
