Position:                Sales Support Specialist for Digital Products

Reports to:            Director Field Sales, Service and Specialty Markets

Country:                US, Canada, or Mexico
Scope:                   North America

Division:                Commercial Vehicle Products

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the sales process of Rhombus TireAnalytics in coordination with the assigned Dana sales representative
  • Demonstrate the product features and relate that to how the prospect may benefit from the use of Rhombus.
  • Assist with the implementation of Rhombus TireAnalytics within customer operations.
  • Assignments will be “as needed” with detailed descriptions of what is needed and expected completion time.
  • Executive briefings and communication with Senior Leadership
  • Represent voice-of-the-customer within Dana
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitor’s activity and communicate significant changes

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of Commercial Vehicle market experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen including knowledge of manufacturing, finance, marketing, and ability to understand the impact of sourcing decisions on the overall business success.
  • Capability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Strong personal computer skills required, including experience with MS Office software.
  • Must be effective in a team environment and be able to work independently.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required.
  • Strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction while following through on assigned projects.
  • Ability and desire to travel to customers and other Dana locations (overnight domestic and international travel)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 75% travel domestic and international region and ability to work non-traditional business hours to manage in global environment.
