We are seeking a Strategic Enterprise Target Account Manager responsible for generating new business sales at named large enterprise accounts.  Candidate would ideally be located in Northern California or the Dallas, Texas area.

The territory will have a high focus on the healthcare vertical as well as the retail and manufacturing verticals.  This is a direct customer facing / direct contributor role with emphasis on prospecting, networking, and generating new business within a designated named territory.  The position will require deep understating and articulation of Lexmark’s value proposition, managed print services, and output strategy to generate a high level of daily activities including prospecting, F2F meetings, briefings, workshops, assessments, demonstrations, proposals, and presenting output strategies and managed print services.

The candidate must be able to show proven success in penetrating cold accounts to drive new business along with experience calling on and working with multiple contact levels, including C-level, within F500 companies.  The candidate will sell Lexmark’s solutions, software, services, and products to the benefit of our customers using workflow improvement, business cases, total cost of ownership with the goal of decreasing overall costs and improving efficiencies within our customer’s environments.

Multiple state travel will be expected in this position.

The major areas of responsibility are as follows:

  • Direct responsibility for prospecting, identifying, qualifying, developing, proposing & closing new opportunities within a set named customer territory.
  • Work effectively with both internal and external resources to successfully close sales.
  • Generating new business in cold accounts
  • Minimum expectation is to achieve annual revenue objectives and close a first time to revenue account

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree (BS/BA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of consultative technology sales experience or software sales experience
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed
  • Proven success in driving new business in first time to revenue cold accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead all phases of a complex sale
  • Ability to identify, nurture, close a value-based opportunity
  • Managed Services Sales and Solutions Sales Experience
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, and complete a complex proposal response
  • Skilled at defining current state total cost of operation, developing key pricing elements, and building a business case based on TCO and ROI
  • Experienced with high degree of proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Word
  • Strong presentation skills and presence.  Able to clearly and concisely develop & deliver concept presentations

*The customer base covers accounts along the West Coast, Colorado, and Texas. 

*This position is for a remote/work from home hire in the preferred locations of Northern California or Dallas, Texas area who will be expected to travel to call on customers.
