Position Description

Positions in this function are responsible for providing counselling telephonically or onsite for behavioral health and employee assistance services. Includes assessment and triage, short-term problem resolution and referrals. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in counselling, psychology or related field with two years post-degree experience in counselling.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for clients needing assessment following intake process

Assess, triage and refer clients as appropriate
- DAP Notes/succinct clinical notes
Required Qualifications:
- BACP qualified and registered
- Knowledge of intake process to support intake team when needed
- Knowledge of Critical Incident process
- Excellent counselling skills
- Brief Solution Focused Therapy training completed
