Job Description : Research and Development of various products and processes in the field of design and manufacturing. This includes:
• Design and Manufacturing of aerospace components for aerospace firms like ISRO, DRDO, HAL, ADA and automotive firms like TATA.
• Prototype development and technical assistance to start-up firms by adequate means of Project Idealization and Planning, Project detailing
• Technical support to Intellectual Property Rights Cell in designing and drafting the Patent document.
• Conduct in-house Research for developing new industrial and social utility products with a wide commercialization aspect.
• Work with production staff and engineers to develop and improve production processes to increase productivity.
• Apply systematic and analytic method of problem solving to make evidence based technical decisions that are safe, functional, cost effective and validated.
• Support the automation projects through engineering process design during development or procurement and be responsible for commissioning of the equipment into production areas by providing training and documentation.
• Familiarize with new and old manufacturing equipment and provide technical support, training and advice to the various production areas.
• Draft CAD drawings for parts manufacturing using 3D CAD software as per ISO standards.
• Provide technical reports and process instructions as required.
