Myself, Shabir joined a reputed Organization ADP back in 2007 as a Fresher and started my career in Oracle Development team been a Developer with ample Functional knowledge, Production Support Engineer before moving to the Testing team as QA Engineer currently with the same organization. Oracle was the heart of the Work Schedules considering all the different roles I have played over.
In Tamil language, there is a saying as "Seivathai Thiruntha Sei" which means "Do it perfect on whatever you do"
~ I do follow the above mantra at workplace while I was involved in all the different roles so far. Hope I would continue to do my Best that drives me through the challenging era of future IT where we have more direct and spontaneous interactions with advanced technologies yet to be born over.

Summary: This phase of work life mostly involved in Automating the applications which been tested manually as the Automation has become the new mantra for Software testing area following the Agile methodologies. Many customised applications related Oracle Incentive Compensation, Rollcall, Sales Dashboards were automated using UFT, LeanFT with Java, Python and Selenium to get align with the current trend of Automation in IT field following Agile processes.
Responsibilities & Impact:
Managed the testing of Oracle core modules Incentive Compensation, Roll Call as part of multiple Sprints of the year by co-ordinating with peers of the Scrum team and making sure User Stories are getting accepted within the Sprint successively.
Imbibed PM methodologies in the execution of the projects both at a high and detail level of expectations among the Stakeholders.
Eradicating the loop holes in the progress of the User Stories and better engagement of productive items in place.
Apt updates to Scrum Master involved in the Daily Stand up meetings.
Strong Automation mindset built in with the perception of automating anything and everything which comes up on the regular releases following the Sprints.
Transformed all the manual test cases impacting multiple applications into Automation to follow fast delivery mechanism.
Focussed on different Automation tools and languages and learning them to quickly get adapted to the Automation space.
Well defined Automation scripts been used to complete the User Stories part of the Sprint activities.
Built Python Automation scripts to automate the functionalities in Web.
Daily updates to the Scrum Master in the Scrum meetings and active participation in the Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective discussions.
Proper usage of Rally to reflect the daily tasks updates and making use of it to create defects and initiating discussions as well.
Effective presentations of the User Stories worked in the Sprint.
